About Me
Riley is a straightforward, down-to-earth therapist who helps people rebuild their lives and find their footing. Whether it's dealing with addictions, healing from trauma, or facing life's everyday challenges, Riley works closely with clients to cut through the confusion and focus on what really matters. His sessions are filled with practical tools, creative strategies, and metaphors that make things clear and easy to understand. He helps men and women rediscover their sense of purpose and direction.
For Riley, therapy isnit just about talking through problems—itis about building tools, overcoming challenges, and finding a way forward that feels real and empowering. He focuses on accountability, personal growth, and making lasting changes. Riley is ready to help clients take the next step toward a life they can be proud of.
Riley discovered his passion for social work in 2008 and has worked in the field for 16 years. He became a counselor in 2020 after finishing graduate school. Over the years, Riley has helped many people find their way using techniques like CBT, Trauma-Focused Therapy (IRRT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
Outside of therapy, Riley has an entrepreneurial spirit. He loves starting businesses and having fun conversations about the ideas and dreams people want to make a reality. As a visual thinker, he processes the world through pictures and uses storytelling and metaphors to help clients better understand themselves and their goals. Riley also keeps therapy engaging by using creative approaches like D&D-inspired therapy and wilderness therapy, making personal growth and accountability more enjoyable and accessible.
At home, Riley is a dedicated husband and father. He has been married for 13 years and is raising three kids, ages 7 to 11. Now living in Idaho, he loves spending time outdoors and makes regular trips to the forest. Riley brings a grounded and approachable perspective to both his work and personal life, showing others how to tackle life’s challenges while focusing on what matters most.
